Hair Extension Services
Hair Extensions can give you the hair that you have always dreamed of. They are a great way to add extra volume to your hair or enhance your natural length. They can also be used to create any color effect, too.
The Untouchables Hair Design has certified Hair Extensions Specialists who are trained in the most undetectable methods. Remember that it is important to have a well-trained and competent technician attach your hair. The degree of your satisfaction depends greatly on it.
Extension consultations are complimentary and only take about 15 minutes. At your consultation, we will discuss your hair goals, hair color, type of extension methods, cost, and maintenance schedule.
There are several types of semi-permanent hair extension methods. Wefts, Tape-ins, K-tips, and I-tips. The method of attachment you choose often depends on the needs of your hair type, the cost, and your willingness to maintain your service. Hair Extensions are a luxury service and require your time and attention.
Different types of installation methods are: Beaded weft installed with micro links, beaded rows, and sew-in weft installed. Wefts are our preferred install method because it is affordable and easy to maintain. With proper use and good maintenance, human hair extensions should last you about 12 months. If you don’t invest in quality products and don’t take good care of your extensions, they will last you between 3 and 6 months.
For the best results, it’s recommended to get your extensions moved up approximately every 8 weeks, which totally depends on your natural growth and how rough or gentle you are with the extensions. When you get them moved up, you just get the rows moved up—you don’t purchase new hair each time.

Tape -in Hair Extensions
Tape-in Hair Extensions are human hair weft extensions that are applied without the need for beads or heat. The safest method of hair extensions available is the weight of the panels spread over a larger area, causing no damage to the client’s hair. It is also the fastest method of application.
Hotheads® Hair Extensions
Hotheads® Hair Extensions are uniquely designed to lay completely seamless and undetectable in the hair. Manufactured with amazing quality human Remy hair, with the cuticle intact, allows our hair to be reapplied up to 3 times, while still looking and feeling amazing. Clients will get 6 to 8 weeks of wear from each application. This is the gentlest form of extensions and the newest technique. They are good for all hair types. The hair is removed using a solution that dissolves the adhesive, allowing the tape to be pulled apart without damage.
Beaded Weft Hair Extensions (What Is a Weft?)
A weft is a strand of hair that is hand tied or machine-sewn together. The manufacturer aligns and stitches hair into a fabric. Wefts can be double-stitched, triple-stitched, or sealed with an adhesive. They are laid in tracks and are attached by using your hair and silicone-lined beads.
Beaded weft extensions application requires no heat, no glue, no tape, and no removal chemicals, leaving behind no breakage, and is good for most hair types. This method is gentle on your hair and stays secure, but will require tightening every 8 to 10 weeks. Wefts can be attached with beads placed under or over the weft. We prefer to attach the weft with the bead hidden under so they are Invisible. Hand-tied wefts lay flatter to the head and are great for fine hair clients.
Braid-less Sewn In Weft Hair Extensions
Braidless sewn-in weft hair extensions are machine-sewn or hand-tied wefts that are attached using micro-links in beaded rows. The weft is sewn around the bead with a stitching method. The beads are not visible, but the thread may be if you are looking for it. This method is very secure and lasts a long time, 10 to 12 weeks on average. This method cannot be tightened. The attachment must be completely removed and reinstalled. This method is the most time-consuming but great for those who are rough on their hair.
Individual I Tip Hair Extensions
Individual I-Tip hair extensions (I-Tip extension or cold fusion) is a pre-tipped variety of hair extension that uses a cold method to connect the pieces. This process involves a hoop or loop, a micro tube, and fusing pliers. This method works well for those who do not want to apply heat to their natural hair.
This method allows you to add a lot of hair with the most mobility, but also has the most points of attachment. The more hardware you wear in your hair, the greater your risk of damage and temporary hair loss. I-tips/keratin bonds are not for everyone. Keratin bonds are heavy and can be stressful on your hair. They take the longest to install. You should expect to be in the salon for over four hours.
K-Tip
K-Tip is a soft, matte keratin bond that is attached to your natural hair with a hot fusion thermal bonding device that fuses it. The discreet bond allows for undetectable application.
Pre-customized 1 cm bond height. Pre-tapered ends allow for a seamless blend into the client’s hair. Lightweight extension can be safely applied in more fragile, finer hair textures, as well as the hairline and fringe area. Longer lasting than other methods: can be worn for 3-5 months. Top quality 100% Remy cuticle-on human hair. Limitless color combinations with over 55 colors to choose from.
Comprehensive Hair Extension Maintenance
Proper care and maintenance of your hair extensions are essential to ensure longevity and keep them looking fabulous. Whether you’re investing in premium hair extension services or experimenting with a new look at a professional hair salon and styling center, following correct practices will help you enjoy your extensions for months to come.
Daily Maintenance Tips
Caring for your hair extensions starts with everyday habits. Use a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner to maintain the shine and health of your extensions. Always detangle your hair using a wide-tooth comb or a soft-bristle brush, starting from the ends and working your way up. Avoid tugging too hard, as this can loosen the attachments or cause breakage.
Styling Guidelines
Heat styling can be used sparingly on extensions, but always apply a heat protectant before using any tools such as curling irons, straighteners, or blow dryers. While professional hair salon and styling methods ensure safe installation and styling, you should maintain a moderate heat setting to avoid damage to your extensions.
Overnight Care
Don’t neglect your extensions at night. Protect them by braiding your hair or tying it in a loose ponytail before sleeping. This prevents tangling and unnecessary stress on your scalp and attachments.
Maintenance Appointments
Regular maintenance appointments at a professional hair salon will keep your hair extensions in top condition. During these visits, your stylist can adjust, clean, or replace extensions as needed, ensuring the ultimate comfort and flawless hair you deserve.
